There will be an OIS-supported rear camera unit on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G.

The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G is about to be released in India. The phone’s launch schedule and official teaser have been released by the business. The next model’s camera specifications have also been made public. The phone is expected to replace the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G, which debuted in India with the Realme Narzo 60 5G in July 2023. If a base Realme Narzo 70 5G version will exist, Realme has not yet verified this.

Realme India revealed that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will go on sale in India in March via a post on X (previously Twitter). A sizable, round, centrally positioned camera module with a triple rear camera unit enabled by optical image stabilization (OIS) was displayed in the teaser video.

The article also includes a link to an Amazon webpage, confirming that the model would eventually be sold on Amazon. It also shows that a 1/1.56-inch, 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main rear sensor will be included in the phone’s setup. As the phone gets closer to launch, we should expect to hear more details.

Given that the Realme Narzo 60 Pro model is supposed to be a rebranded Realme 11 Pro series model, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G might be a rebadged Realme 12 Pro+ 5G. For this, the manufacturer might alter a few components of the Realme 12 Pro+. Unlike the Realme 12 Pro+’s triple back camera set, the teaser photographs of the Narzo 70 Pro do not feature a telephoto camera. This might make a big difference and contribute to the forthcoming phone’s lower price.

It’s worth noting that the Realme 12 Pro+ debuted with the same 1/1.56-inch, 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G is rumored to sport. But the Realme 12 Pro+ also has an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto shooter.

In contrast, the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G sports a 2-megapixel secondary sensor in addition to a 100-megapixel OmniVision primary sensor. A 16-megapixel front camera sensor is also included. The 8GB + 128GB version of the model retailed for Rs. 23,999 when it was first released in India; the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 1TB versions cost Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively.
